I am having trouble connecting to my XBOX via FTP with FlashFXP.

I have intstalled EvoX 1.8.458 onto my Xbox HDD. I have set up the network to: Static IP: 192.168.000.002
Default Gateway: 192.168.000.001

I have then opened FlashFXP and tried to connect to 192.168.0.2 but I just keep getting my connect to internet Dial Up box. If I click cancel I get the following message in FlashFXP:

Microsoft wsock32.dll, ver2.2, 32bit of Jun 7 2000, at 21:34:15.
Connecting to XBOX
Connection failed (10065:No route to Host)
Delaying for 10 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

If I connect to net I get the following message:

Microsoft wsock32.dll, ver2.2, 32bit of Jun 7 2000, at 21:34:15.
Connecting to XBOX
Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 10 seconds before reconnect attempt #1

Can anybody please help me. The anoying thing is I have had it connected before!!!

Windows 95/98/ME
Start > Run > winipcfg

Windows XP
Start > Run > cmd > ipconfig

Now look at Local Area Connection and the IP address listed. Use the same numbers for the first three sets but for the last one, add one to it and put that in on the Xbox. Make sure that the number you entered is NOT the local IP of another computer on the network

Now, look at the Subnet Mask listed under Local Area Connection and that is what you should put in for your default gateway.

did you check the evox.ini before you loaded evolution x, I am assuming you used the goldbergmod to load up.

Right, wot u do is this:

Download xISO and then extract from your EvoX file the default.xbe file.

Then download Evo-X Menu Editor and create an .ini file for whatever games or apps u need.

Using xISO, create a ISO file of these two files and burn it to a CD-RW or DVD-R or whatever that works on your Xbox.

This should now boot up on your Xbox and you will be able to network it up with ur pc or use Boxplorer to fix your Xbox.

Hope this helps!
