Hi

I got a problem where programs like Windows Meda Player, Ultra Player and Power DVD crashes when I try to play *.avi (divx) files and mpeg, asf, etc. WMP just crashes whenever I try to play anything... It generates errors and re-installing does help. I've even tried using Ultra Player and that crashes too. the only thing that works for avi now is DivX player and Winamp but I'd prefer to use Power DVD for some of the files.

How might I fix this WITHOUT formatting? Thanks

Have you installed any software recently? You might want to try re-installing your TV card drivers.

TV card? Don't have one. Just a graphics card.
