What are the main differnences between the 2? Obviously it helps that pro evo 2 is in english but gameplay wise/ What do you guys think?

In my opinion WE6 (patched version) is better than Pro Evo 2.., and thats just my opinion!

seriously though i think we6 plays a bit better than pro evo 2....

the fifa series is for the ppl who can't score in pro evo...

its too easy and boring!! and u get crazy score lines!!

I've been playing it ...PES2 is "fiddly" to start with, mainly due to the pressing of the ball... its not as fast as PES1 I think, but once u get used to it, I think it is a better game.

BABANGIDA is awesome!

fifa has awesome graphics but the gameplay is shite! Pro evo is 5 times better!

The tackling and shooting are better in PES2, ie you can just hold X like in WE6 to get the ball and start off you own attacks. The shooting seems a lot quicker, you can produce some really stinging shots.

The passing in WE6 i must add was much better, much much better!. When sending a long pass from one side of the pitch it takes forever in pes2 and therfore is not as effective. In WE6 the better the player the more zip you could get on the long pass. same goes for crossing,.In pes2 beckhams crossing was just as crap as gary nevilles, no penatration.. this is the most dissapointing thing for me, im finding it hard to catch out defences with crosses because there are alway people marked due the time it takes for the cross to get there!

So basically (i hate to admit it) but WE6 is better because of the passing...... but the keepers are better in pes2 which is a good thing

think ill stick with winning eleven 6 for the time being then.

I think pes2 is more realistic although i dont know if that makes it a better game, probably not

I've got both PES2 and WE6 and behind WE6 all the way. Its faster and also you don't get that annoying first touch like yo do with PES2. The commentry on PES2 is great though.

The names in pes2 are a bit weird. all the dutch players in mine are called 'oranges' with a number afterwards anyone know whats thats about?

Any way WE6 is class and theres little difference between the 2, i turn the sound off on both.

we6 has my vote. play it all the time. tried the demo of pes2 and to be honest it seemed apallingly bad - step backward.

WE6 is 100 times better than PES2, a big thumbs down for that one, bought the original its now tooked away and I'm back to Winning eleven 6, miles better in my opinion!

I got both too, but how come pse2 is faster than w6?.. I like w6 better but I like ps2 because is faster. Or what can I do to make w6 faster? cause it's kind of slow. Thanks.

fluid passing in pro 2 its so fiddly ay the start and goal keepers are like super man

what a hey p robinson is top class gk in we6 hes save me so many times i had bets on money with mc keyboard and he put me loads of pressure but likely 4 me paul robinson saves me and i won 30£ good on ya robbo

Are we talking we6fe here?? If so we6fe beats pro evo 2 hands down:

- jostling for possession is now realistic and plays a huge part in the game.
- dribbling still responsive but not too easy (like pes2)
- as mentioned above crossing is much improved
- passing and control much crisper
- defending although harder is much more realisitic

Get we6fe and patch it, and you wont regret it.

i had pes 1 and i thought it was gr8,but i just got fifa and pse 2 and i have 2 say i think that pse 2 is pure shite.The names and team names really do wreck it and the gameplay seems to have slowed down an awfull lot.Hate to say it but in my book fifa 2003 is miles better

i was really dissapointed with pe2, i'm not sure why they made it into a dribbling game. we6 is so much more tactical through passing, looking forward to geting pe6fe when i get my ps2 working.
