Mine arrived Tuesday.
May I suggest that people keep the receipt because the one I have had for about 2 years has had the wheel legs snap off ( on different legs ).
A chum of mine has welded them for me in the past.
The Viking info says that they will change out any defective parts within the first 2 years.

yeah ordered mine last thursday got it monday- good chair- however no way is it worth £280

i was quite surprised with some of the screws- the ones screwing the control base thingy to the base of the seat i found were very short and the size of the screw heads weren't that much bigger than the holes drilled to accomodate them.

having said that this is by far the best chair i could have bought for that kind of money!!

lol,
I wish Van Nugent :)

In my honest opinion I thought it was difficult to put together in that the screw in some cases weren't long enough. But once completed I was very very impressed with the quality for this price. It's comparable to £100 ish priced chairs in my opinion no the £280 stated. I've not had back ache for 3 weeks now.

Got mine too on Tuesday (they got em in early as demand was high-thanks to borgy ;)) agree with nimbles on most of what he said....no way £280, I had alot of probs getting two of the screws in as pre-drilled holes were not in line but once finished am well happy with this fairly sturdy bargain for £40, might even get another one as my wife won't get off it :(

It won't beat my "smoker's chair" that I have in front of my PC. My gran has had this thing since the 1900s, and it is the bollocks.
I reckon the guy who invented the Laz-Y-Boy chair is a reincarnation of who made the Smokers chair.
U really have to see this thing, it reclines, has a big humongous cushion to sit on, padded brown leather back and wooden frame. On either side it has 2 shelves and on the underside of the right hand side arm-rest, it has a circular piece of wire which spins in and out and u put an ashtray in it! Also has a drink holder.

To be honest, it's a "weed-smokers chair as u have ur shelves for all ur gear, ur ashtray at ur side, wooden armrests wide enuff to skin up on and a holder for ur beer or drink.

Only thing is, it's Puckin hideous looking!!
