mahesh Oct 30, 2002, 07:36 PM I Have some compressed PS2 games, i want to extract and burn onto a dvd-r. Can some one give me a step by step guide. I am using Win RAR3 and Prazzi Primo DVD. Please help!!!! Jaymus Oct 30, 2002, 07:41 PM Well, if you have rar files, just double click on yourgamename.rar and extract it. Most likely it's an ISO or Bin/Cue combination. Just burn using Nero, Prassi, or any of your favoriate burning programs. mahesh Oct 30, 2002, 08:19 PM Its a bin/cue file. I did Burnout 2 which had two bin/cue files, but when i put into my PS2 nothing. I also burned Contra onto a dvd-rw does that make a difference as i have been told that PS2's don't reconise dvd-rw. and that did not work either. Jaymus Oct 30, 2002, 08:40 PM Burn Contra to CD-R or CD-RW. I don't think it will work (Contra) if you burn it on a DVD. The original is CD based. I don't get why you have 2 bin and cue files. Zero Oct 30, 2002, 08:53 PM Unless you specifically dl dvd images, burn all your games on a CDR not a DVDr. If you want to put several cdr based games on 1 dvdr, that is not possible at this point. You can do this with X-Box dvdrs however. mahesh Oct 31, 2002, 03:25 AM But the Contra file is 717mb too large for cdr and the reason Burnout has 2 Bin/Cue files is because the compressed files show a cd1/cd2 folders but i want to put it all on to 1 dvdr so the game will play smoother. Jaymus Oct 31, 2002, 03:33 AM hmmm, you got the Burnout 2 CD-Rip version, so you can't just put it on 1 DVD. It's made for 2 CD-Rs. Contra will fit, even though it says 717mb, if you have the cue/bin burn it in Nero it will work. If you have a DVD Burner, you can always get a copy of the original and make an image of it. mahesh Oct 31, 2002, 03:45 AM i am using prazzi primo Jaymus Oct 31, 2002, 04:06 AM Ya, that would work. Just get your hands on an original, make a global image, then burn. Guaranteed to work, well if you can boot it with the modchip you have. Dunno what u have fk1team Oct 31, 2002, 07:01 AM use this prio tutorial... http://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk/Primo_Tutorial.htm |
