It came unplugged when I opened up my ps2.

Lift the connector tab carefully with a small flathead up and slide the ribbon cable all the way back in and close it. or just use your fingernails.

Just make sure it's secured and close it.

I don't think the eject cable has a locking tab on it. The only one's I've seen are for one of the DVD-rom cables and the controller port cable. An easy way to tell if it is a locking type, all you have to do is look for two different colored plastics. One is usually tan and the lock is brown. If it is the non-locking type, all you have to do is push it back in using the blue tab that is on the cable.
