I am looking for Prodisc 2X DVD-Rs at a good price in the US.

I have found them for $2 a piece in units of 10 and up. And $1.90 for 50.
I did see 100 for $150, but I am only using these till 4X DVD-Rs come out, so 100 is too many...

Looking for closer to $1.50, which is what my brother paid.
The place he bought them at stopped selling them though...

Thanks!

i got some cheap blanks on ebay.com. I got 50 4x dvd-r's for $75 after shipping. You dont need to wait for the auction to end either if you use ebay's "buy it now" feature which is avaliable on almost all the blanks i looked at.

Thanks I saw those.

Unfortunately I have no idea
1) If they really work at 4X ; never heard of them,
and nobody esle has 4X media...

2) If they work with the DRU-500A.

I was surprised today to find that while I had some failed DVDPro blanks (bought from my brother so I could test) before (maybe Norton AV or buffer underrun issues?), that I could burn one of my brother's DVDPro discs without a problem today. Those are only 1X though...

I'll keep testing.
