What game controller do you recommend as an "all-in-one" solution for someone who likes mostly racing & shoot-em-up games (e.g. motocross madness, aquanox, wing commander, grand rallye etc). Some people say a game pad is best - others a joystick. What do you reckon, and which brand/model?

Thanks

Thanks guys.

I should add that this is for a PC using USB port. Don't really want a controller that required additional power - so that probably rules out force feedback type sticks.
