I have been trying to make copies of my ps1
games. I have CDRWIN, I get all the way to 96% (in extraction mode) then it starts to tell me errors. Also in the extract disc mode the red button for the audio will not show up? I have never done this before so I am very confused.

Have you tried more than one game? Maybe your ps1 cd is damaged. I'd try another game.

You may be getting a buffer underrun which generally means you need to lower your writing speed. Also when writing, try quiting all programs (including screen-savers) and leave the computer until it finishes.
If my memory serves me correctly, not all games will come up with the red audio tracks. I could be wrong though.
What I would do is try burning at 1x. Turn off screen savers, power savers, disconnect from the internet, all that good stuff. Nothing should be running but windows files (in WIndows 95, I mean explorer and systray) and CDRWin.
Also if you tried to apply a cracked version (which is illegal), CDRWin could've detected it and may be purposely screwing up your blanks.

if cracked,, cdrwin will not do anything odd, the discs just won't work.
and buffer underrun's are rare at 96 %, I'd say try backing up another disc, or even an old pc game, or data cd (whatever as long as it ain't protected).
If that won't work, there is something unusual going on
