Hi there,

Could someone tell me why i should not burn the image, made by my Lite-on LTR48125S, on a cd-rw disc but on a cd-r disc?

Allow me to explain my question.
I tried to backup a new bought game ( Roller Coaster Tycoon2 - protected with SecuRom new)) from an image onto a cd-rw disc to avoid spoiling discs if the burning went wrong.
( i already spoiled too much discs backupping this game)

the backup was succesfull but i can't play the game.

The media shouldn't matter. Even though it's backed up you may still require a 'No-CD' patch. www.gamecopyworld.com may have one for that game.

The newer versions of securom are kinda tricky, but as said it doesn't matter what media you use.

If you have a Clone CD image then you are welcome to try patching it with this (http://members.optushome.com.au/cdromguide/Patchrct2.rar)

Anyway, I'm moving this to VGB.
