I live in CA...would wireless Internet be a better alternative to DSL or cable? I browsed around found Unplugged Internet..a wireless service provider...w/ speed up to 1.5mbps...for only 25 bucks a month..I'm just wondering whether that will be any good compared to DSL cuz I don't need super fast speed...just an ok d/l rate and an open phone line.

My exp. with wireless internet is that for surfing and downloading it is great and speedy. The downside is if you like to play online games. Due to the inherent nature of satellite it is fast once a connection is established, but it takes it a second to establish that connection. When your surfing you will likely not notice. But when your playing UT2003 and someone shoves a rocket up your *** because your on a slight lag you may yearn for your DSL.

I'm really considering this service...but is their technical support reliable at all?
