As the topic says.WHen i start up my pc it doesnt detect my hd.The only thing it detects is my cdrw drives.So i've to go into the system bios & auto detect the drive & then start it up.But everytime i try on my pc i've to do the same thing.I guess for some reason it isn't saving the settings once i auto dectect it.

Try setting ALL of the followings in the BIOS:
- Set Quick Boot to Disabled;
- Set Floppy Drive Seek to Enabled;
- Set ALL Primary/Secondary Slave/Master IDE's to Auto;
- Set 1st Boot Device to CDROM, 2nd Boot Device to Floppy, 3rd Boot Device to IDE-0 (or the HD that you have the boot record).

Your drive might need to warm-up or something. It happens to me too. I just press reset and then it's detected.
