I'm looking to buy an external firewire burner for my iMAC and would like help in choosing the best option for PS2 backups.
Anyone tried the Lacie burner.
Cheers.

If it's DVDr/RW then of course it's a Pioneer. Perhaps you should get a LiteOn firewire case and buy the Pioneer AO3 to put in it. It's hard to tell what you're really getting in those cases. So be be sure to read the fine print before you buy. In other words. Lacie makes the housing for someone elses burners. Buyer beware definitely applies here. onthefloor Feb 08, 2002, 06:44 AM LaCie definitely uses the Pioneer A03 mech. in their DVD-R/RW They use the Panasonic mech in their DVDRAM/R Just make sure you ask for the right one ! Prices seem to be good (499 for the DVDR/RW & 449 for DVDRAM/R) |
