ive just upgraded to Windows XP Pro, from ME. what the problem is that i have downloaded Kazaa lite V2.0 and installed the software, this all went o.k, when ever i start Kazaa it dosent connect, I keeps saying conecting. is there a way of fixing this.

Also, i have AOL 7 and IE6 installed AOL connects fine but when i use the IE6 browser it dosent display any pages it only says The page cannot be displayed, can this also be fixed cause its annoying.

no m8 im connecting to the 15.99 pay monthly AOL server.

Try

Open I.E->tool->Internet options ->privacy-> low

Internet option and delete the cookies and the temporary internet files

Open I.E->Tools->Internet Options->Advanced tab->under Settings, and under HTTP 1.1 Settings, clear those two check boxes->OK

Shut down WinXP's firewall.

hothi m8 ive tried the above, but no luck. how do you turn xps firewall off because i thing thats whats stopping kaza to conect.

can you suggest anything else.

to turn off xp firewall

control panel> network connections>right click on your connection>properties>advanced tab
untick box then ok

Erm, you have input a username yeah? Cause after you install Kazaa Lite it just tries to connect with out signing up first. The username is under one of the menus. I just cant remember which one.

@ sickmanofasia there is no option to turn of the firewall,

@ Memphis yep i have a username, it just says connecting ive kept it on for about half an hour now and no luck,

any more suggestions,

well my mate had this problem the otherday i hope this helps, For some reason he could not connect with version 2 maybe a bug, so we tryed kazza lite 1.7.2.

It worked with no problems.
