Much to the chagrin of my girlfriend, I chipped my 30001R PS2 with a No Swap Apple Chip. I was amazed to find that after all the difficult soldering, my PS2 still actually works (I was fully expecting it not to). Anyway, my PS2 will not play PS2 DVDR backups. I tried some PS1 backups, which work fine. I used the recording software that came with my DVDR drive and am thinking that is the problem. I'm wondering, though, if a connection to my mod chip might be the problem. Anyone have any ideas if I need to get better software or do I have to open up my PS2 again?
