Hi,

I am trying to DVD Author with IfoEdit 0.95, i do everything as i think it is supposed to be but when it gets to about 20% (960MB for VOB1) it stopes and gives me a message,

---------------------------
IfoEdit
---------------------------
Too many frame drops!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

Does anyone know what this means? I can play the 960MB VOB in mediaplayer and it looks great and is in synch.

What do frames drops mean and why are they allways at this point and how can i fix them?

Cheers

Looking at my m2v and ac3 files i see somthing which may have somthing todo with it,

When I play the m2v file in media player it says its only 58.57 minutes long but the ac3 is 01:51.58 which is the actuall lengh of the movie, but the strage thing is the m2v contains the hole movie ??

The time difference is because the m2v file by itself has no time code without the ac3 file. Windows media just plays it however it wants too. Thats actually I guess, but I'm pretty sure its whats happening because if u author those 2 together in spruce it will give u the correct timecode.

I'm now having this issue with IFOEdit when I try to do subs. Don't know why yet. I guess I will look at doom9 to see what they say.

I foudn that it has to deal with subtitles. If you get this message chances are there is a problem with the movie and its subs. If you do it without the subs it works fine. This happens on a movie by movie basis.

I've had this happen on a movie without subs. Anything else I can check?
