Thanks Van Nugent Feb 06, 2002, 01:27 AM No, my Mitsumi USB burner works great with CDRWin. You may check the Supported Devices page on http://www.goldenhawk.com to see if your burner is supported. Zuber7 Feb 06, 2002, 03:07 PM It's says it's supported. I wonder if I need to download something though. Doesn't make sense. Keymaster Feb 06, 2002, 07:46 PM Keep in mind CDRWIN ver. 4.0a is a beta version, it will have some bugs (more than a production version). Zuber7 Feb 07, 2002, 11:35 PM Never thought of that...I guess I'll try version 3.8 to see what happens. Thanks for the insight. Van Nugent Feb 07, 2002, 11:55 PM Before going back to 3.8, have you checked the ASPI layer? If not, please do so. Get ASPI Check & Force ASPI from this page http://www.cyrus.troy.btinternet.co.uk/downloads.htm . Use ASPI Check to see if you have the correct ASPI layer. If not, unzip Force ASPI to a folder then run INSTASPI.BAT to update it. Onlymenotu Feb 08, 2002, 04:51 AM Greets :) Is It that latest version? Have you Just dl it ? Cdrwin is known to make updates to a version and call it the samething (never change the name or build) My version is (4.0a September 2001) Just a Thought! :DOnlymenotu:D Zuber7 Feb 12, 2002, 08:34 PM Originally posted by Van Nugent Before going back to 3.8, have you checked the ASPI layer? Now it works fine. I shoulda figured it was an ASPI thing. Thanks. Van Nugent Feb 12, 2002, 10:01 PM Lots of burning problems are caused by incorrect ASPI layer so when we have problems with burning, the 1st thing we need to do is to check & update the ASPI layer, especially for new systems & newly installed OS. |
