my 104 has been working fine for a few months now,no probs,ive recorded on pretty much all disks including bulkpaq and the like,i havnt upgraded or changed ny firmware r nything but suddenly it refuses to accept bulkpaq, it just goes to the initialising bit in prassi and then gives an error,same with these silver tops i have,datasafe work fine but all the same since the bulkpaq and the other 1s were working fine b4 im kinda wondering wats gone wrong,all the leads and stuff an still in fine so i duno

hi gsand just had the same problem it was my dvd reader i got another win xp compatable rom with all format read now everything is fine hope it helps

hey just to clarify this matter further,my 104 and my built in reader cm to b performing way worse for no apparent reason-they have trouble reading pretty much everything,i havnt done nything to the system recently so does ny1 have ny idea wat mite b going on???everything else cms to b working fine-regards to all,gsand.

i just upgraded my firmware and im having major prob's, does any 1 know if it can be down graded to original firmware??,

Yes, you can downgrade the firmware, but you have to get a "hacked" firmware, one that tricks it to think it's flashing a newer version yet it flashes with the older firmware, therefore reverting back.

I forgot where that site that has all those firmware for the pioneer.

This is why I never upgrade if your current one is work. I am wondering why you guys all upgraded anyway, just because it's "new"?
