What resolution is the best to scan dvd covers at ?

depends entierly on what quality cover you want to print back

I scan all my covers at 400 dpi, and they print great on glossy paper/Cd labels. I don't worry about the size, as u back them up 2 CD anyway.

Its best to scan 2x the intended resolution, then reduce image size by 1/2. That way u dont notice the ink/paper pixels (whatever the proper term for it is) that much.
