The groups have release some rips on CD-R but none that's multiple like DMC on PS2, if that's what you are talking about. XBox games can be run off the HD, so there is probably less of a need/"request" for multiple CD-R. First of all, most XBoxes can't read CD-Rs. Only CD-RW.

I got a boring office job and do exactly what Jaymus does in the way of looking on the net all day :D

I got a wall behind me and the rest of the office in front including the boss so i can get away with pretty much anything net related, i do most of my trades, online orders in work, starting to doubt if i even need broadband at home

I appreciate nobody wants to know this but am bored again

Peace

Actually Cal_G_UK I'm interested in how you guys study up on the new scene so well.

Absolute novice with xbox and can't even get my ftp connection to work with a linksys router.

Don't care to help me as I'm sure to get told off if I post this question in the main forums.

I just want to know if it is possible to establish a ftp connection with evox (cd not on xbox hd) and not have the xbox modified. Reason being I want to see if I can back up the files and be confident I can copy games to my pc, before I go and fork out the modchip installation.

It seems so simple at times to ftp in, copy files to pc, use software to burn cdrw/dvd - yet I can't get any of this to work and the faqs are still confusing me because I can't even achieve the ftp connection to trial the process.

Any help appreciated as you seem quite knowledgable.

Regards, Anita

Thanks bestdcbackups,

Actually just went ahead and got the chip put in today - they said it was evolutionx II but I can't see that listed, do they mean X-ecuterII maybe ?

Anyway, I'll try the tutorials again and see if I have any luck with the ftp connection.
