When i put a dvd movie into my xbox dvd drive, it doesnt show up in the evolutionx as being there......isnt it supposed to show up and display the size of the movie?

It's probably burned incorrectly. I have gotten some movies on Princos that plays on the PC but not on standalone player or XBox. But if I burn a movie myself on Princo or other media, it plays fine. Also, shows up as VIDEO and autoplays afterwards in Evox
