just wondering if u can put your xbox HDD in a pc (as slave drive) and add mp3's etc

no need to do that, just burn songs to a cdrw and copy to xbox that way. i'm not sure if the xbox will do mp3's though.

Are you going to replace the XBox HDD, so you want to use the 8-10 gig original on the PC? If so, you can. There is a guide on xbox-scene.com

XBox does wma formats when it rips CDs.
