I'm using a LaCie 32/10/40 external firewire drive with my Vaio laptop.

Just installed NERO v.5.5.7.2 and been trying to copy CD's on the fly and also reading it to image then burning it to cd but to no avail.

All I get is the following:

Lacie CDBP 321040A
SCSI/IDE Command Abort

Lacie CDBP 321040A
Unspecified Recording Error

This always happens right after it has wrote the lead-in. I also have a PCMCIA external HP 4x burner and this drive works perfect with NERO.

When I use cloneCD I get no such problems and it works fine. I've downloaded the new ASPI layers and still no joy.

Any ideas ?? :(

I also have a firewire yamaha cd-rw drive connected to a vaio laptop running windows XP. I can't make any burning programs except the built in XP software to work. I've updated all APSI, and done everything I've read from 50 different places, but nothing helps. Have you gotten any responses or help?
