I was currently using ntlworld as it was a free isp meaning that i would pay so much a month (£10) and have free internet access 24 7.

Now that i have cancelled this as we are not going to have the phone service with ntl they said that we no longer could have the internet access...
So i would like to knw any veiws on internet access which is 24 7...i am in the uk!
I would like to get cable modem with ntl..but i dont knw.

If you can get cable then go for it ,you just don'e know how crap 56k is till you get cable its worth the £25 compared to £15 for 56k,

I good dial-up service provider would be Freeserve or Tiscali.
For broadband BTOPENWORLD, and Blue Yonder would be options. go to www.net4nowt.net and have a look at the ISP's.

I have V21 and I think its fine.

I had one problem dialing up due to firewall installation at their end.

Don't know why some think its not very good but each to their own.

Good luck
