I have a "silver" of GTA Vice City and the problem is that at least once a day when I'm playing the game hangs. It always happens in different locations with different cars. Also, I've noticed that after game hangs the radio keeps playing fine without stopping or looping. So I wonder, could it be the "silver" media (which the store I bought it from claims it is high quality) or is it the game image that was applied to the disk. Otherwise I didn't have any single problem like loading screens or laser working too hard. So is somebody out there with gta vc "silver" has similar problem?

im very surprised that even on the silver u getting same errors as dvdr versions, u get loading screen yeh?

get it on a verb or traxdata dvdr mate see wat happens

No, that's the thing, I don't get loading screen or anything else; the game just likes to hangs whenever it chooses to.

its not the silver it happens on the original to i was playing the original and it froze and or hangs on me to its just that the game was released to early and still has some bugs in it and i plan on complaining because some times the guns dont shoot either and the enemies sometimes can shoot through walls

Wow! I had no idea that the original freezes too. And this is so annoying especially after you completed some very hard mission after like 20 tries or so and you didnt save your game and then suddenly the game hangs. If the problem grows maybe R* will do a recall. Well, I know I wont be able to get replacement with my "silver" but what about all those people who paid $50 to enjoy the game and it is full of bugs? R* should have waited until christmas or so and fix all the bugs and glitches in the game.

thats wat thousands of people hassel a company to release a game sooner especialliy a console game witch cant be patched

Even my original Gta:vc 'gold' freezes sometimes.

I got a "silver" copy of GTA VC and it's the same as yours m8. No waiting for it to load while playing but it does freeze and hang. It's very F**king annoying as you said. I have it on a verb as well and it doesn't hang but I do get the annoying loading screen.

Was planning on just buying the original but I guess if the original does it too then I'll hold off and wait until they sort it (if at all) :(

yep, i used verb and got a particular freezing moment. i was about to return and save after finishing the mission that requires u to do damage within 2 minutes. and then it freezed. really annoying cuz i've put numerous tries just to pass it.

I have the original and it froze on me once the first day I played it. I've had it a week and it hasn't frozen since.

I just got it today and have played it fro 3 or 4 hours and absolutley no freezes or anything!

Mine is a retail original
i dont think there was much disc reading when i was wasted, it just like crashed.
it seems to be buggy! plus it moves the lazer around a LOT
