View Full Version : ADSL keeps disconnecting

my ADSL keeps disconnecting at random stages. When it disconnect the ready light (adsl connection) light flashes for a few seconds then goes sold again at which then i have to reconnect so i cant leave it over night to download. I've checked the idel setting. Im using a zoom modem on freeserve and am using win98. PLEASE HELP!

Try upgrading the Zoom Driver m8, If not maybe check the line are you using the micro filter or have you got a line (ded.) to ADSL

Yes i think that may solve it.
As i had the same problem with my ADSL router.
And was solved by upgrading my firmware.

Or maybe you have to reset your idle time to 0 mins.
Or your micro filter is not pluged to the main telephone socket.
Or it could be the freeserve dsl sever.
So just try phoneing there help line and ask them to cheeck your line.

i dont think you can upgrade the firmware
