you can use an app like winiso or iso buster to extract the files to your hdd and install from there...

Hey,
Same here i have downloaded 'RED HAT 8.0' iso files.
I have a cd writer but as burning the iso files, consumes 4 cds, i can't be bothered to waste 4 cds on that option.

I am planning to install the linux OS on a sever that i built.
I was wondering if anyone could run through with me on how to install the linux OS (Red Hat 8.0) via a network.

Computer -------> Sever

THX...

@XeNix: 4 cd's is hardly a lot is it, they cost nothing these days, and as I said in your other post you only need the first 2 anyway.

@khizman: You could always buy a set of CD's of the net. You can pick redhat or mandrake up for less than £5 if you look around. Linux isn't like M$ products, its free so people sell it for little more than the cost of a CD. Obviously the boxed versions are more expensive but you don't need that.
