When I go into menus like Favorites or the start menu programs it always takes about a second to see the shortcut contents...I know there is a registry tweak to make menus appear as soons as you highlight one without any delays. Could some tell me please. Thanks.

try tweak xp, or customiser xp - they both have menu time changers

this is the one i used on xp

Start Regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
Select MenuShowDelay from the list on the right.
Right on it and select Modify.
Change the value to 0.
Reboot your computer.
