ske Nov 15, 2002, 04:02 AM and are the copy's better or the same as a 104...?????? dark_camel Nov 15, 2002, 07:57 AM no m8, no standalones yet record 5.1/dts pain in the a$$, pioneer, philips or panasonic. using a 104 u will get a copy of source disk, if u go through the procedure, although u may need to downsample an original DVD to fit on a 4.7 gig disk. picture qual on a standalone when recording at SP speed is very good, not quite as good as original, but u get Dolby 2.0 ie prologic surround sound. Manufacturers may allow recording in 5.1 in the future, but obviously the pic will not be quite as good as soundtrack takes up more space. Also pepl say they wont allow it to thwart the pirates lol |
