Hi All,

Which of the following is best???

Sony DRU 500A
Pioneer A05
Toshiba SD-R5002

Or perhaps there is a better model than the ones above that someone could tell me about?
Is it known when 9gig DVD writers will be available (For PC) ?

Thanks for the advice...

Depends on your computer. You spend your money & take your chances. I went with the SOny because it can do ANY format...

handyguy.... I would be interested to see how you get on with your Sony, I'm looking at the same model... for the same reason ;)

Have you tried a DVD copy using Nero yet?

Naw, I just used dvdxcopy to copy Clones, worked fine. I wrote a data disk on cheap ACCU media today, seemed to be okay.

media deals:

verbatim dvd-r $22 for ten after rebate at dell.com

memorex dvd+R three for ten bucks, circuitcity.com
