ok I have windows 98 se and I am looking for a good dvd writer I plan on burning dvdr but i don't wanna limit my self to that incase one day theres more stuff i wanna try burning other stuff but I am new to this so not sure were to start I just wanna pick a good burner that will work with my pc any more info you need just ask. Also were would be a good place to buy one for an ok price

hi there the best dvd driver i think and what most of the members use
is the pioneer ao4 or 5 version which is coming out
as for price u have to shop around at bowlers in manchester ao4 for about
199 pound which is dame cheap
i would for sure stick with this make as there dvd burners are top stuff...
do not go for hp dvd drivers arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh crap

If any of my post is wrong, then i'm sure some1 will correct me...
U might wanna go for XP as it can then handle more than 4 GB in size of a single file as the file type use is NTFS whereas Win98 uses Fat32 i believe and can't handle more than 4 GB file sizes, this will be a problem if you're gonna burn movies...
