is there a coming modchip for xbox? that works everything easily?

even works fine with xbox live? any1?

I'm not an expert, but I think that might be kind of hard. Since XBox live forces you to take updates before playing they could continually send out updates that will detect bios/modchip. For now be happy it only blocks out Live.

hi i dont think it will ever happen as every new modchip that is release
is bought by microsoft to rip it apart and see what the coding is
then all they do is make a program to check for this information.........
its not looking very good at all for us modchip xbox guys going online
all ready happen to a friend and it will not let him back on.. :(
i would be very very carefull if u do buy this xbox live package
remember they are using the same incoding as they usa army uses
for protection

Maybe im not up to speed on this but I thought the bypass switch took care of this issue am I wrong?

The X-evuter 2 promises to resolve this issue with XBOX Live. We'll see I guess...

All I know is the second it comes out, MS will have one and have it blocked within a day....

so no reason to get a pre-modded xbox if i just wanna play xbox live? :confused:

The best thing to do is not get a Modchip of you want to play online. When another Modchip comes out, MS will just make another update. Most modchips are made with Pc's running Windows, anything they can make, MS can break.

Alright mod, no offense but pls listen. I am not that gonna pay like £40 for an original just to play xbox live as i am not rich enough to do so, and beside there is not much point do that. :o

Therefore, i ain't gonna get a xbox as there is no point. I finally started to know why xbox sales is doing so badly just because they are too annoying, no one wanna buy xbox when it can't be chipped in order to play online with backups.

If every1 is saying MS can break modchip, then no point for us to get xbox...

The game consoles are sold at a LOSS! The companies makes no money by selling you the hardware. They only make money by selling the software.

Since you're not buying any software then they couldn't care less if you purchased the hardware or not.

I just think its stupid that they ban boxes, if the chip is diabled you can't cheat any way so big deal. And I can see wanting to use an actual back up(i'm so sick of people calling pirated copies "back ups", if you don't have the original it isn't a back up), but big deal just use the original.

Of course i know companies don't make money from console, and make it from games. The thing is if they disable us to play xbox live with modded xbox and so on, this means less ppl like xbox, and therefore less ppl would buy the xbox2 is it ever manage to come out!

Every1 love psx cos of its modchip, and then every1 went onto ps2 even when it doesn't have any modchip as yet at the beginning...

so if xbox is taking their route like this, they r actually ending their console! and their next console and their next next console, as no one border to buy an expensive console and expensive original.

at the end of the day, not many xbox owners will be on xbox live since there are so many ppl using modded xbox. :(

i feel sorry for those, as many ppl saying "MS got money, so they can break what ever modchip, no modchip will enable u to go onto xbox live", wow, what a great statement... this just stop many of us from getting a xbox this christmas, of course, a modded one i am on about.

Well for real, I don't have any original at home for my ps2 except one which is the boot disc for dvd-r swap trick :laugh: so i assume that i can have everything for cheap, this is the reason why i ain't getting GC and was considering getting the xbox... but since xbox live blocks modchip, it ruin my plan of getting the xbox. :furious:

u said xbox live can make xbox 2 massive, well i sort of agree, but on the other hand i said modded xbox can't use xbox live then it makes less ppl use xbox live and this might reduce the number of ppl getting xbox2.

afterall, many modded xbox owners don't like xbox no more. :hdspin:

If the gaming experince with LIVE is all its cracked up to be then I'll just disable my mod and buy the original of the game I want to play ...

Some games are just worth paying for ...
