I am not able to boot DVD-r's with the No-Solder Modchip. CD backups work fine. I have a version 4 PS2. I believe that the problem is with my Gameshark CD. I have GS2 version 1.9. I think that version 1.93 is required for this modchip. My question is: will higher versions like GS2 version 2.0 work with the no-solder modchip?

Why arn't you able to boot DVD-rs? What boot method are you using.

I tried the double swap method with an original DVD that has a TOC larger than the backup I am trying to play. As I said, I am trying to boot the DVD-r using gameshark 1.9. I have heard that version 1.93 is needed. What I would like to know is, will gameshark version 2.0 work or is version 1.93 the only version that will work with the no solder mod chip.
