I have searched for this on many of forums and have not found anything about it.

I bought Harry Potter the other day (Fri) and I went to make a back-up of it as normal. I did everything fine, burned it, the game boots up fine and you can watch the intro CG video and go to the options and everything is fine. When I attempt to start the game it loads about 10% and then a blue screen comes up saying "Game disc may be dirty or damaged"

When I go to options and select a different language (anything but English or Italian) the game loads and you can play around the first area then it locks to the same blue screen saying "Game disc may be dirty or damaged"

Can someone confirm this working (I have USA NTSC version) from DVD-R or do I need a patch or something? Like I said I did a search and didn't find any info about problems with this title. It seems to be fine but I get the same error screen every time, I have tried 3 different DVD-Rs, and DVD-RWs so I am sure the media is not the problem, I also tried re-ripping the game 3 times each time was successful with no problems. I also even tried burning the files direct with Primo, then again with XISO and other programs too.

I did notice there were two ISO releases of this game one supposedly didn't boot.

Any info help would be appreciated. If someone can just confirm they have ripped and created a back-up themselves that worked. Or how they did it would be a big help.

I forgot I am using evoX BIOS 2.5 so there is no Beta issue.
