Hey everyone,

I heard there's some problems with Sbox modchip and how it makes the laser burn out, I'm looking for an easy to install replacement that can play DVD-r and and doesn't damage my system. If someone could please help me out I would really appreciate it.

I'm looking for a chip under $50CAD that can boot DVD-r's with a swap method, it really doesn't matter how they boot as long as they play and I need a link to a site where in Canada where I can buy one.

Thanks

A Neo 2.2, but I heard they also burn out lasers.

That leaves you with: Neo 2.5, Neo 4.1, Origia/Nova

The Neo 2.5 is crap.

The Neo 4.1 is good if you can solder

the Origa/Nova cost about 30$, but is the hardest chip to solder and plays DVD games without the need of a bigger TOC
