No, a backup XBox game on DVD-R should read fine on a PC DVD reader.
Should be able to burn it without a problem. unless it's a silver.

You can always FTP the files as if it was an original and burn

I've seen this before, It's something to do if the game was burnt from an iso.
I think if the disc was burnt as a datadisc then it can be read, I could be wrong.:)
I leech all my games so they are all iso's and my pc wont read them either.
I have to use xiso to be able to see the contents of the disc.

But a disc to disc copy will work without problems...

Uranus got it in 1, if you downloaded the .iso the image will have been built using the XDK by the groups and so will still be in FATX format, if you use something like Xiso to extract the files it does something along the way to make the files viewable on a PC, home made backups (video shop rips  ) will have been FTP'd across which also does something to make them viewable on a PC, it all depends on who done the rip, groups you wont see home made you will, simple as that :D

Hope this clears things up a bit.

Peace

Just because you cant access it in Explorer doesnt mean you cant access it!!! Even EZCD Creator can make a copy of a copy, just put it your DVD, start up you burning program and choose "make exact copy" it will work...
