just a little problem
i just tried to take a copy of shox/harry potter for the ps2
both copies failed
1 both read ok - very quick though
2 they copied as very small games
3 both started to boot then failed to show playstation 2
then said no data
4 both have a deep purple bottom
is there a new protection out or something - any info would be appreciated

Harry potter needs ea patching too if you have a neo chip.

im using nero and gen 4 dvd master disks
all other games i have copied work fine

Bleepster is RIGHT (See dude, you are ALL not stupid!LOL) <That is in reference to another post he did earlier where he said "sorry we are all stupid!", so go easy, I'm not flaming anybody-just making funnies>
If the game is originally on CD, and you burn it on DVDR (OR visa-versa) the 'media checks' in the main ELF file (or SLUS file) will tell the PS2 not to load the game any further. Also, if you are burning these particular two games from CD (Which they are) to CDR (Which you SHOULD be doing) then they DO need an 'EA Patch' if you are, indeed using a neo 2.2 or similar.
