tosca925 Nov 17, 2002, 04:56 PM I want to get a DVD player and not too expensive. I want one thats plays anything you throw at it especially VCD and CDR. Can anyone recommend any and where to to get them from. Both £180 in the shops (region 2) but got mine from www.hi-spek.co.uk (i think thats the right addy) £140 for region 2 or £180 multi region and it does everything i throw at it! brianc Nov 18, 2002, 10:42 AM Went to local computer show. Got my self a P&B 2233 slim line DVD player £100. Bloody mint, multi-regional and macrovision disabled straight out the box. Plays DVD, VCD, SVCD and MP3 5.1, DTS, Dolby etc etc Direct VGA Output (connects to monitor/plasma screens) There are alot of players out there at the moment but most are just too damn ugly. The Tosh does exactly what I bought it for, a quality piece of kit - the dansai, cheap and cheerful play everything I put in it - usually dvdr's whose quality goes from kak to near perfect. They both serve a purpose! |
