I ordered a backup copy of Splinter cell (to see if I liked it befor I buy the original :D ) and I have a problem!!!

I am at the level on the Oil rig (sorry, I don't know the name of it!), and all of the speech text that comes up, all of my mission briefs and notes etc. are all in some sort of code!!! I cannot understand it!!!

I will have a look later and post as to what it exactly says.

my copy does the same - the problem actually starts right at the end of the previous level - when he hacks the PC - obviously a bug in this build.

yes, mine starts there too. In the code that appears instead of the text, it says something about update?

Maybe if you had Xbox Live you could use the download feature at the start menu to update the text???

or maybe you ended up with the previuos release of it which was only a beta game.
