as the title says
i have 2 liteon ltd163 16x dvdrom drives , the latest firmware made a big improvemnt to reading dvdrs , however the 163 does not have much success with bulkpaqs (which many peeps send me in trades) , i bought a samsung sd616t as people seemed to rate the 616 (not sure if it was the 616t model tho) as the best reader , the 616t turned out to be worse than my liteons , so i sent it back to dabs for refund .
So what is currently the best dvdrom for reading all media even bulkpaqs , i want to copy on the fly all the time but i really need a reader that can read almost all media without errors .

I thinks it's more to do with Bulkpaq than your DVD-ROM drive, I've had quite a few DVD-ROM drives and Blukpaq would always cause read errors.

I'm using a Toshiba SD-M1612 and can copy all media 'on the fly' apart from the odd Bulkpaq

I know the feeling m8, got the liteon 166 (updated firmware) and had the same probs with bulkpaq ended up with the new pioneer 117 which reads all the stuff the liteon couldn't. It was a toss up between that and the tosh but the pioneer won with its faster dma speed (66).
