I am wanting to chip my xbox, but have no idea which are the best type of chips. Could somebody please post some details on the pros and cons of the different chips, and rough prices. Also, if anybody has any recommendations, they would be most appreciated.

Is this allowed mods? I have just read the xbox forum rules, and it says you are not allowed to ask to buy modchips etc, but I am not asking to buy one, I just want info on the chips before I buy. If it is against the rules, please delete, but please don't ban me!!!!

The solderless Matrix is probably the best right now.

So if I get one of these, I'm not likely to have any problems playing back ups, dvds etc? have you any idea of the price?
