I know the Executer has a new chip and Bios coming out at the end of the month. Is there any news on a new Bios for Matrix that will work on VER1.1 (2) X-box.

i think they're saying it wont work on ver2s now. new bios or not

The new mobo on the version 2 xbox will be layed out just a bit differently I am sure, I haven't seen one.

So the pogo pins on the current Matrix will not line up with anything on the new version 2 xbox.

So it won't be a software problem, just a hardware problem.

I recommend going to a game store like Babbages or Electronics Boutique and getting a refurbished unit. Chances are better that it will be a version 1 xbox. Plus you'll save some money and you shouldn't worry about the warranty, because you are voiding it by opening it up anyway!!!!!!!!!
