Does anyone here use claranews newsgroups?

I'm currently subscribed to there news unlimited service(£11.99 per month or £99 per year) and have been getting some good downloads i.e xbox games and VCD a couple of days after they have come out on the release sites

Just lately none of the articles that have been posted by other users have been complete!

some files have been hardly filled for example

Rally.Fusion.Race.Of.Champions.XBOX-WAM (68/79)

All parts have bits missing and there is too much to make up with the par files

I'm using xnews and on NTL 600kbs service

Same problem here mate.:furious: It's been like this since lastweek now.
The last few nights the speed goes down to 40kbs after 6pm till around midnight.

I'm having to use easynews for fills again now, And your credit goes in 5 minutes flat getting xbox or ps2 dvds. I think my year is nearly up! so if it isn't sorted soon then i'll be looking for another unlimited provider.

Hi

Just signed up to Claranews on their 20gb a month after Easynews servers were playing up and disconnecting regularly. I'm not impressed at all with Claranews as their incomplete files are as bad as my ISP's (BTO). I know the deal is better than Easynews but i'm going back to them after i've used my allowance,at least their retention is worthwhile (30 Days) as opposed to about 10 days with Claranews and the majority of posts are complete...

Just my Opinion
