Iv just had a go at copying starwars, i ripped it ok, but when iv encoded it to make it smaller, iv set it to an mpeg file format. it is dvd mpeg, not vcd, and it works, but the guide im following to put the subtitles back and keep menus said i should have set tmpenc to convert it to a .d2v file, So, is there any qucik methord to change the mpeg into a d2v.

Also, when i try and load maestro it complains about a .dll file been missing. Is it NT XP only? - is there any other way to put the subtiles back in if it is.

You use a D2V file to frameserve a M2V/VOB to TMPGEnc in order to re-encode it. If you have already re-encoded it then you do not need to worry about D2V files.

IFOEdit can also author with subtitles.
