i have succesfully backed up the original VOB files to my HDD and proceeded to rip the unused foreign languages and sounds, just leaving the movie, english menus and 6ch english sound.

howeve when i re-encode with reMPEG2 the output comes out really Blocky etc...... i have heard its due to the warner bros logo at the start, now i will not remove the first chapter as it will take 2 mns from the film!! any suggestions/ guides so i can back it up quickly and easily without re-ripping etc???

please help out, its my first re-encode!!!!

ive figured it out! pretty simple when i htink about it... tested out 10 seconds of the new encoded file, the blockyness has gone!
