are u using i was trying to use nero but it wouldn't work does prassi works with this drive ? and is there any other software i can use to burn iso ?

recordnow, comes with that drive is the software most people in the PS2 forum use.

I had to add the psxengine to make it work though, thats free, from Veritas.com of course.

Oh, I see you want to make an ISO. Well you should look around in the PS2 forum for that. They have a big ISO folder at the top. Prassi or CloneCD ?

The newest NERO supports the 500a! It is the one that ends with .17
