when i try to sign on to the internet it takes a couple tries but then when it finnally gets it it sez veryfting user name and password for 60 seconds then connects. it does this every time and it always exactly 60 seconds.

does anyone know why this happens??? any help appriciated.

oh yah the computer is a 333 mhz, win 98, 32 mb ram, 4 gb hd.....pease of s**t!!! :hdspin: :round:

Try right clicking on explorer icon...properties..connections..settings..properti es....then in general box click on configure.....remove ticks from... enable hardware flow control...
Modem error control...Modem compression... If you are using 56k modem this should help

This is on your isps end though it is unusual that it is always the same amount of time

but on my new computer it doesnt do that and i use the same account on both.
