my computer will not play mp3 files anymore. i usually use WMP but now when i try to use them, it "plays" the tracks, just no sound. but it will play midi songs. and no other programs play them either

does anyone know why this is, or how to fix it?

What version of WMP do you have? Have you tried a few different MP3's?

Is it not playing mp3 sounds only?
Are you sure your "wave" volume setting is turned up?
