Hello

I am wondering which is the most SECURE version of
Windows ?. Reason I ask is that I have Win98 SE but not sure
whether there are any real advantages of having more recent
version ??.

Any opinions, preferably based on experience of similar
up/downgrades appreciated

Frank

I think xp and 2000 are more secure than 98.

Win2k and WinXp are definatly more secure. I mean if you setup a password for 98 you can just hit escape to skip it.

Win 2k Advanced Server is probally your best bet for security and the most out of ya processor

Security wise, Windows advance server is no more secure then normal Windows 2000 or XP. It's got the same security functions.

2000
Though Using XP
I know 2000 has more security.
Since you're asking for seciruty, 2000's the way to go.

DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT GET 2000 & ME mixed up.
