could it be that the swap magic disc can't handle it? i have a v7 ps2 and use a solderless chip and the swap magic disc to play it.

at fist i used cdrwin to burn it ang got an audio cd. then i used fireburners.

You kno how when u successfully swap, the border of the screen will turn blue and then it'll switch screen? well shinobi switch screen. But instead of the game screen popping up. nothing pops up. just a black screen for a long *** time. the cd spins really fast in the cd drive too. The ps2 even vibrate a little it.

Not sure if this will work with your setup but with my neo 2.2 at the black screen keep hitting the start button. Good luck.

my kalisto version works fine. if it gets stuck on the black screen sounds more like the miracle version since they removed some of the movies.

If you are using Swap Magic cd I assume you don't have a mod. If you don't have a mod, you have to use NO MOD PATCH to play DVD rip that are 80mins. If not Swap Magic CD won't boot it! I have kalisto shinobi and used no mod patch and it works!

My version wouldn't boot up until I cleared some space on my memory card for it to create a save game. Strange but true.

Just keep hitting start and Y and it will work.
